RUSSIA’S NEW JET-POWERED DRONES Terror In The Sky

🚨 RUSSIA’S NEW JET-POWERED DRONES — 375 MPH AND THEY CAN COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER!

I just watched a fascinating and disturbing CNN investigation into Russia’s latest generation of attack drones being used against Ukraine.

These aren’t the slow, propeller-driven drones we’ve become accustomed to seeing in news reports.

Russia’s new Geran-4 jet-powered drones can reportedly reach speeds of 375 mph (603 km/h), making them considerably more difficult to intercept.

But their speed isn’t the most remarkable development.

THE DRONES CAN ACTUALLY COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER WHILE FLYING!

Inside these aircraft, Ukrainian intelligence has discovered sophisticated wireless devices called mesh modems.

Here’s how this technology works:

✈️ 1. A flying communications network. Each equipped drone can transmit signals to other drones, creating a wireless network stretching across considerable distances.

📡 2. Live video back to Russia. Cameras mounted on the drones allow operators to watch video of approaching targets and potentially adjust the aircraft’s flight path in real time.

💥 3. One drone attacks while another watches. A second drone can remain overhead, transmitting video of the first drone striking its target, including the resulting explosion.

🎯 4. Targets can be changed during flight. Unlike earlier drones programmed to fly toward fixed coordinates, these newer systems can allow operators to redirect attacks based on what their cameras reveal.

⚡ 5. Faster means harder to stop. Jet propulsion dramatically reduces the time Ukrainian air defenses have to identify and intercept an incoming drone.

AND HERE’S ANOTHER SURPRISING DISCOVERY.

Although these are Russian weapons, investigators have identified Chinese-made engines and communications equipment, along with Western-made electronic components obtained through international supply chains.

Many of these drones are manufactured at Russia’s enormous Alabuga production facility.

Think about what this means.

We’re witnessing the evolution of unmanned warfare from individual flying bombs into interconnected aircraft that can communicate, relay intelligence, receive instructions and coordinate attacks over long distances.

And the same underlying technology that makes this possible — wireless networking, cameras, remote control and increasingly sophisticated electronics — has applications far beyond the battlefield.

The frightening reality is that military drone technology is evolving at an extraordinary pace, forcing defensive systems to evolve just as quickly.

The question is no longer simply how fast a drone can fly. It’s how intelligent, connected and adaptable an entire network of drones can become.

Technology is changing warfare before our eyes.
